Steve Cooley to speak at GBRA’s January 26, 2022 meeting

The Glendale Burbank/Crescenta Valley Republican Assembly
is honored to announce our January Speaker, will be the Honorable Steve Cooley, J.D.
Los Angeles County’s 41st District Attorney, 2000-2012.

Currently, Mr. Cooley is very active in the Recall of George Gascon and will be briefing GBRA’s membership on the Gascon Recall, an inside look at L.A.County’s real crime issues,
and other relevant crime information you will not see in the media.

Steve Cooley Update:
“After retiring as LA County DA in December 2012 I formed my own law firm—-Steve Cooley & Associates. Re my involvement in the Recall Gascon effort—-I was recruited to serve as cochair of this non partisan victim initiated extraordinary endeavor sometime after Gascon was sworn in. Criminal justice professionals and those concerned with public safety were stunned by Gascon’s policies which he announced in writing a few minutes after being sworn in. A grassroots effort centered on a facebook page began. Next of kin of murder victims took the lead. I was happy to follow. The current effort to recall Gascon is based upon a lot of solid organization, is being supported by financial contributions, and is well led by professionals. I am very proud to be a part of the current effort to recall Gascon.”
