More ballot manipulation

HOT SCANDAL…WILL MAKE NATIONAL NEWS…THE TIME IS NOW.

As a life long Democrat in Minnesota and California, I am stunned to have received yesterday, the deceptively designed Alameda County Ballot that is designed to take votes AWAY FROM THE RECALL LEADER, Mr. Elder, a Republican.

I have confirmed that this ALAMEDA STYLE IS NOT BEING USED IN SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA.

THE DECEPTION:  Here it is….busy, “in a hurry” people will undoubtedly make this mistake due to the inartful/artful (?) design….I almost made the mistake too but caught myself in time….An empty oval to be filled in with ink as your vote is right next to Mr. Elder’s name BUT that completion would NOT be a vote for Mr. Elder.  ….it would instead be a vote for MR. LOZANO.

 UNBELIEVABLE.  Even a home delivery service would NEVER have the item to select so vastly separated from the checkbox. Flies in the face of common practice.  That is the HEART of the DECEPTION.

As a retired Naval officer down the street told me this morning  “THIS IS UNCONSTITUTIONAL…THIS IS A MONUMENTAL FRAUD ON THE CALIFORNIA VOTERS.

As a former prosecutor for a State Attorney General’s office in the midwest, and former in-house legal counsel for Dayton Hudson Corp. (today known as TARGET STORES), I am stunned.   HOW MANY OTHER COUNTIES HAVE RUN THIS DESIGN SCAM?   

The Secretary of State’s Office needs to be contacted ASAP.

And the voters NEED TO BE WARNED TODAY!!!!   Protect our Democracy and our Constitution!

Here is the recommended procedure from the Election Integrity Project:

To be sure that your ballot is delivered & counted, I recall that EIPCA recommends the following:

1) Take your mail-in ballot to a polling place and request a paper ballot. They are required by law to provide it.

2) In return, you will have so surrender your mail in ballot. At this time insist that they void the ballot by marking it clearly “surrendered” or “void”. If they refuse to do this, do it yourself.

3) When you receive the ballot, mark it with a black ball-point pen. Do not use a gel pen or a Sharpie, these can bleed through and cause it to be “adjudicated” allowing someone else to cast your vote for you.

4) Do not willingly accept voting at a terminal.

This will ensure that a proper and durable record is kept of your actual vote.
