Of course everybody dreams of a Fairy Godmother who will come along and save us from the mess we’ve made, but reality has no Fairy Godmothers.  We the People have allowed Congress to loot the system for decades because we wanted to believe their promise that somebody else would have to bear the cost for it all.  Like it or not the can has been kicked down the road and is now going off the cliff.  The time has come to, in the immortal words of W.C.
