The origins of the plot to destroy America

Much of the material to be posted in this series is a reprise with emendations of material that was published in these pages over two years ago.  The events that have unfolded since then have, in the opinion of your Irascible Correspondent, amply, and tragically, validated the thesis that there is an organized plan to destroy America, the West and civilization itself.  The basis for this understanding is rooted in this lecture by ex KGB operative Yuri Bezmenov.  Two years ago I wrote:

You may say to yourselves, “How can we know when a message has not been spoken by the Lord?” If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the Lord does not take place or come true, that is a message the Lord has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously, so do not be alarmed. Deut 18:21-22

On the other hand, it it does come true …

In my opinion Mr. Bezmenov spoke prophetically in Los Angeles back in 1983.  Whether his words are those of a true prophet, or my analysis is of any value, I will leave to the reader’s judgement.  If so, please share.
