While I grew up in Naples and still visit, I suspect the GBRA event is in Montrose. How did Naples get involved?
Various events occurring that weekend were presented so that people could choose which they might want to attend. One of those events, a demonstration promoting the the recall of George Gascon, was to take place in Long Beach near Naples Elementary School on Saturday. A separate event, the last of the three, was the Memorial Day flag raising, was to take place (and in fact did take place) at the Vietnam Memorial in Montrose, CA on Monday morning. There was no connection between Naples and Montrose.
