UPDATE 2 – In fact the case was sloppily prepared.  It should have been thrown out.  The reason the Court wanted to expedite is because they have been given notice that the 2020 and 2022 election fortification issue is something they are required to deal with.  They want to do it but need a case that is tight and strong.  You can watch a deconstruction of what went wrong at this link, 4 hours, 48 minutes.

This first interview took place before Christmas. Things have moved forward since then. Your Irascible Correspondent didn’t know anything about it till the early morning hours of January 7. In the last week it has become clear to me that although I have read the U.S. Constitution, it has been a long time, and I confess that I have never read the California Constitution, a shameful oversight which I purpose to correct.
